Airite is a privately held Florida corporation. The business, as it exists today,
was relocated from Rhode Island in 1970 by its present owner, Bruce Silverman. Prior
to its relocation, the business had operated for two generations in Rhode Island performing
in many of the same types of trades and services. Airite continues its base operation from
the same Tampa location established thirty years ago, although there have been numerous
expansions in both plant size as well as scope of services provided, including growth to
accommodate state wide coverage of the service division. Airite's initial services (offered
in 1970) of residential and light commercial HVAC design and installation has grown into a
comprehensive full commercial and industrial HVAC and process system installation firm
providing; computer assisted fabrication of a variety of metals, refrigeration, energy
management, controls, dust collection, industrial ventilation, process systems and ultra
high purity clean rooms, systems retrofits along with in-house engineering and systems
re-design. In addition to engineering and construction services, we offer total maintenance
and repair services 24 hours, 365 days a year.
Airite performs in both subcontract and prime contract positions to owners with a
wide variety of business types as evidenced by the enclosed random listing along with a
random list of service customers.
The company is comprised of three divisions, installation, service, and process
systems. While Airite began as an installation/construction company, the present diversity
has been engineered for a synergy of services within and between the divisions which has
further added to our financial stability. The owner and all management devote their full
time professional efforts exclusively to Airite.
